Potato Bowl

So here we go with a couple of rapid posts about all the fantastic things that are happening in our lives right now! On December 16 the Aggie Football boys played in the Potato Bowl in Boise, Idaho. My parents paid for a hotel and we road tripped it up there! It was super fun and we were both excited. We arrived on Friday the day before, got our hotel, and went to a place called Old Chicago Pizza to eat. It was really good food and we enjoyed our time there.

We also got tickets to Sherlock Holmes #2 and watched it that night. It was super awesome. The next day we had some time to kill before the game started. We visited Petsmart (as Jamie is trying to convince me that dogs inside are ok), shopped around, and then went to the game. Sadly I realized we left our camera in the car! I was super disappointed but I didn't want to walk the mile back to the car to get the camera. So we have no pictures of the game. I was smart and found out that the Aggies were giving away a pre-game lunch, which I promptly printed tickets for. It was a potato bar, haha, but was super good. We loved that we didn't have to find lunch that day. The game was awesome! We were winning the whole game...until the last 30 seconds. During those 30 seconds we watched our dreams of winning a bowl game disappear. Ohio came back and beat us making for a long trip home. However we had seen a Fudrucker's near the movie theater from the previous night so we stopped there for a quick dinner. I had never eaten there but it was fantastic! We started the journey home and got caught in a nasty fog/snow storm near the Utah-Idaho border. Jamie was a fantastic driver however and got us home safely. We pulled in about 1 am and quickly got in bed for 9 am church the next morning. It was a fantastic trip and we loved every minute despite the long drive!
